My new car

So, here are the first pictures of my new car: a 2009 KIA Picanto!

(I had those stupid stickers of the car dealer removed since taking the pictures.)

Obviously, it's not as big as the Ford Escort that I had until it was totalled recently, but it does have some other advantages:

-It is totally new.
-It comes with a 3 year guarantee (which can be extended to 5 years).
-It has power steering.
-It has air conditioning.
-It has central locking.
-It is very economical.
-It is a real beauty.

KIAs are from Korea and are not very common in Germany. Actually, since starting the search for a new car and paying closer attention to the cars in traffic, I think I may not have seen more than 3 or 4 KIAs on the road. Once I did see one, my eyes lit up, especially if it was a KIA Picanto. Although I have always been very fond of the Mini, that was unfortunately out of my price range, but I think the front of a Picanto looks much like a Mini and is yet especially beautiful in its own way...

I had to have a licence plate starting with the letters DA followed by 1 or 2 other letters and 3 to 4 numbers. So I chose NK as the other two letters because that spells the German word "Dank" which means "thanks" and which is what I want to say to God for providing me with this car and every other good and perfect gift He has given me.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. (James 1:17)
